A Negative Brane is a brane with negative tension. It resembles an Anti-Brane in having Ramond-Ramond Charge, but an anti-brane has positive tension.
A negative brane is surrounded by a naked singularity "bubble", inside which the signature of space-time changes.
In AdS/CFT, negative branes appear as the holographic duals of supergroup gauge theories.
